St Davids Cross Throws and Blankets

This weave is a modification of our original Vintage Star design, the inspiration came from early 18th Century Shaker weaving and the fabric displays the simplicity and bold reversibility of Shaker blankets. Howard Griffiths ( second generation of the Griffiths family company) developed the design back in the 1980's. All our throws and blankets are finished with a simple hem so you can choose to display either side. It is woven from 100% pure new Wool so feels very much like vintage Welsh fabrics, wool has warmth weight and breathability but is still practical and easy to care for.
