The full description
Volga has collaborated with Turquoise Mountain and leading Palestinian embroiderers on a collection featuring the 'Shakla Tayr' or Bird Motif, a traditional design commonly found in the Ramallah region, and symbolic of Volga's folkloric heritage.
Palestinian embroidery, known as Tatreez, is a centuries-old craft and enduring symbol of identity and resilience. Seven Palestinian artisans from the Dheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem worked on these designs, continuing a tradition passed down through generations.
These napkins are crafted from the finest linen, featuring two rows of intricate hemstitch detailing and a hand-embroidered Shakla Tayr in red, bringing a touch of Palestinian heritage into the home.
